Quiz Night with a Difference - Another Success

Our Quiz Queens Eva and Ann got together with Quizmaster Steve and organized another great quiz with all proceeds going to CARE. Approximately CI$400 was raised which will assist greatly with the spay and neuter surgeries this month! It was great fun and we hope to see you all at the next Quiz Night!

Insulated eco-bags rescue animals, environment

An alternative to plastic shopping bags that will help reduce their environmental impact and support animal rescue efforts at the same time has been introduced by Cayman Animal Rescue Enthusiasts (CARE).

The “Adopt Don’t Shop” eco-friendly tote bags are insulated, ideal for carrying perishable items in Cayman’s warm climate, and made from non-woven, polypropylene material with the look, feel, strength and quality of a cloth bag. The insulating material is constructed of polyester fibers and coated with thermal film. The bag also has a zipper closure, reinforced handles and a plastic bottom insert, and can be purchased for CI$8 each or CI$15 for two.

The Adopt Don’t Shop bag also makes an appropriate gift, which could also encourage people to think about adopting a dog, and proceeds from the sale of the bags go to animal rescue.
