Al Pacino now Nicco begins his new life in New York

Photo of dog:

The weather was not going to stop Al getting on his way to his new life and forever home in New York on Saturday. Al Pacino who came into our lives as a stray in early January with horrific facial injuries is a real Cinderella story. He was nursed back to health in a foster home and then through our partnership with UA...4A we were able to find him a forever home with a loving family in New Jersey. Carol his new mum has already confirmed Al now Nicco arrived safe and sound last night, thanks to Cayman Airways, and is doing real well. Three cheers for Nicco. Big thanks to Tracey for nursing Al through his injuries, Victoria for chaphroning Al and Jacqueline for partly sponsoring Al's treatment. Once again "It takes a village" ....

Fun Run Success!

Many many thanks to those who came out on Valentines Day for the SMU/CARE K9 5K It truly was a fantastic morning and we couldn't have asked for better. Over 170 people turned out for the event and it was so wonderful to see so many people and so many doggies too. This charity run has raised over $2,500 for CARE and all proceeds will go straight towards our Community spay and neuter campaign. Our heartfelt thanks go out to SMU Vet Students, without who this event would not have been possible. Pinky, Katie and Saskia you guys rock!
